I love this idea and would like it if my government banned all petrol and diesel cars from the city and reserved them for the motorways only and had battery powered cars, trucks, motorbikes, inside the city within a five mile radius. This would help people to convert to electric or hybrid however even with hybrid vehicles they should be adapted so as not to be able to use their petrol / diesel engines inside the city reducing emissions and pollution and in doing so reducing the greenhouse effect and bringing in a new age of sufficiency and renewable energy. I believe the only thing that is holding the world up in this conversion is their investment in fossil fuels and fossil fuel products.
